The combination of two ball isolating valves and one ‘T’ port diverting ball valve are used to fill and flush the system with cleaning chemicals or water treatment.

  • Maximum Temperature: 85˚C
  • Minimum Temperature: 2˚C
  • Maximum Pressure: 10 bar
  • Compression ends complying with: BS EN 1252-2 for use with R250 (half hard) copper tube

Fill and Flush the System

  1. Connect the water supply to the filling connection and a hose to the drain connection.
  2. Turn valve 3 to direct the flow to drain, open valves 1 & 2 and any manual air vents.
  3. Gradually fill the system with clean water or flushing solution until all the air has been released and the system is full, then close any manual air vents
  4. Turn valve 3 back to system flow and operate the system.
  5. Close valves 1 & 2, pressurise the system and operate the system following the specified flushing procedure.

Final Fill and Start Up

  1. Open valves 1 & 2 and any manual air vents then turn valve 3 to drain and allow the system to empty through the drain port.
  2. Fill the installation with water treatment / glycol mix until all the air has been released and the system is full, then close any manual air vents.
  3. Turn valve 3 back to system flow and operate the system periodically releasing any trapped air.
  4. Close the drain valve 1 and pressurise the system.
  5. Close the filling valve 2.
  6. Fit the blank caps provided.

Returning Direct items

If you would like the supplier to collect any items that are not needed, there would be a collection and re-handling charge of 25% per item and a charge of £45 + VAT (The £45 + VAT would be per collection, not per invoice or item.)

 

The handling charges would also increase depending on the date from delivery to collection, 25% is for anything collected within 1 month of delivery to site. Anything over 2 months would be more than the 25% and again for 3, 4, 5 months etc and you would be notified when contacting us.
