The MacPress 35mm x 35mm x 22mm Reducing Tee – GAS is designed for branching 22mm gas lines from 35mm mains. A reliable, WRAS-exempt press-fit fitting for certified gas professionals. 

Installation Instructions for Press Fittings
 
1. Ensure the copper tube is cut squarely.
2. Deburr the pipe internally and externally to form a smooth edge.
3. Check that the ‘O’ ring of the fitting is seated correctly and free from impurities.
4. Do not use jointing compound, oil or grease.
5. Insert the tube to the full depth of the socket.
6. Clearly mark the tube at full depth.
7. Aline the fitting with the jaw of the tool correctly.
8. Make the press connection, using a suitable M profile jaw.

 

The MacPress Reducing Tee 35mm x 35mm x 22mm – GAS offers a flame-free, press-fit solution for gas systems where a 22mm outlet is required from 35mm main lines. Manufactured to BS EN 1254-7:2021 standards, it ensures safe, compliant gas installations using M Profile tooling.

Clearly marked with a yellow O-ring and gas identification stamp, this fitting is approved for use with natural gas and LPG. Ideal for pipework serving gas meters, appliances, cookers, boilers, and heaters.
