The MacValve 28mm 3 Port Mid Position Motorised Valve is designed to control water flow in central heating and domestic hot water systems. When installed with suitable room and cylinder thermostats, it provides automatic regulation of both services and moves to the mid position when heating and hot water are required at the same time. Designed for compatible 28mm pipework, it is supplied with compression fittings and features a synchronous motor drive with spring return action. The replaceable actuator head can be changed without draining down the system, helping simplify maintenance. An auxiliary switch, integrated manual lever and 1 metre five core flex provide useful features for professional plumbing and heating installations.

The MacValve 28mm 3 Port Mid Position Motorised Valve provides motorised control of central heating and hot water circuits. Its three port design allows water flow to be directed to the heating circuit, hot water circuit or both services, depending on system demand. When correctly installed and wired with suitable room and cylinder thermostats, the valve moves to the mid position when heating and hot water are required together.

Designed for compatible 28mm pipework, the MacValve 28mm 3 Port Mid Position Motorised Valve is supplied with compression fittings for connection to suitable systems. It uses a synchronous motor drive with spring return action and includes an auxiliary switch with a 3A resistive rating for compatible control arrangements.

The replaceable actuator head can be exchanged without draining down the system, making servicing more straightforward. An integrated manual lever is provided for commissioning, while the 1 metre five core flex uses industry standard wire colours: white, blue, grey, orange and green/yellow.

The valve operates on a 230V, 50Hz electrical supply with a power consumption of 6W. The specified operating temperature range is +5°C to +88°C, with a maximum differential pressure of 1 bar and maximum static pressure of 10 bar. These specifications should be checked against the requirements of the intended installation before fitting.
