The MacPress Slip Coupling 28mm is a WRAS approved press fitting designed for quick, secure pipe repairs and connections on hot water, heating, and potable water systems.
Installation Instructions for Press Fittings
1. Ensure the copper tube is cut squarely.
2. Deburr the pipe internally and externally to form a smooth edge.
3. Check that the ‘O’ ring of the fitting is seated correctly and free from impurities.
4. Do not use jointing compound, oil or grease.
5. Insert the tube to the full depth of the socket.
6. Clearly mark the tube at full depth.
7. Aline the fitting with the jaw of the tool correctly.
8. Make the press connection, using a suitable M profile jaw.
