Rob Pond Self Cutting Drain Off Cock

The Self Cutting Drain Off Cock is a practical and efficient solution for draining water from plumbing and heating systems without the need for pipe cutting or system dismantling. Designed for quick installation on 15mm copper pipe, it allows plumbers to create an instant drain point even when existing drain valves are inaccessible. Ideal for emergency work and maintenance tasks, this reusable tool enables fast, clean system draining with minimal spillage, making it an essential addition to any professional plumbing kit.

The Self Cutting Drain Off Cock is designed to simplify the process of draining heating and plumbing systems. Its self-cutting mechanism allows it to be fitted directly onto live 15mm copper pipework, eliminating the need for draining down the system beforehand or cutting into the pipe manually. This makes it an ideal solution when existing drain off points are not available or cannot be accessed.

Once installed, the unit creates a reliable drainage point, allowing water to be released quickly and efficiently with minimal mess. The fitting can be installed in minutes, helping plumbers save time on site and complete jobs faster. Its reusable design means it can be removed and used again after the pipework has been properly resealed, offering excellent long-term value.

For larger pipe sizes, the tool can also be used on 22mm copper pipe when paired with a suitable 22mm self cutting adaptor. Built for durability and ease of use, this drain off cock is suitable for domestic, commercial, and heating system applications. Whether for planned maintenance or emergency repairs, it provides a fast, clean and effective draining solution.
